heh you missing star conquest as much as I am? unfortunately I didn't make it into the closed beta but I know someone who did and they said that all the beta is right now is a one-room combat simulator. the hosts won't reveal to anyone anything about the new version of star conquest though, so no one knows, not even those in the beta. blah. I can't wait. They did say that hopefully by the middle of october it'd be up and running. I wouldn't hold your breath on anything productive coming of SC. According to the Squidsoft community journal (http://squidsoft.livejournal.com ), it's 95% politics, and 5% gameplay.
