I was refering to burnout three. Hmm. Now that I know I might dig out my

What game are you refering to? I played single race mode, take down. I got
 a
few cars, but some sited help was needed to get more cars- particularely
when you had to race to get in first place. Crash mode was easy enough,
 too.
I just couldn't do that world tour.

Yeah they were. I love the ps1's sound when the game starts up. The
 ps2
 was
great, too- it automatically loaded a game- but, the dreamcast, in all
honesty, is the best way to get around menus. If a menu is stil up
 when
 you
put a game in, just press all the shoulder buttons (l and r), and
 you'll
 be
taken out of it, I think. I haven't played mine in a while- but its a
 great
system. I love it. Mortal kombat games rock on there. An oldy but a
 goody,
as they say. I will never sell mine. Only thing that sucks is, instead
 of
the fan giving heat to all the circuits, the dreamcast has a fan
 because
 its
working damn hard (so do! not! cover! the! vents). The PS2 and xbox
 could
live without it for a while, but the dreamcast can't. Covering the fan
 will
result in fire, not could, but will. I had it happen to me. the ps2 is
 fine
for about 5 or 10 minutes, and the xbox about 5. I haven't tested
 this-
 but
people have told me- but it happened with an old dreamcast of mine.
 The
 fan
is absolutely required to keep it cool- oh btw. The dreamcast memory
 card
beeps if its in a controller when you turn on the system. (Don't worry
 about
not knowing where your controllers are!). BUt back to the fan. Notice
 when
you move through selections on the dreamcast, the fan temp changes,
 etc.
 The
ps2's fan is actually quiet- I had my ps2 sitting 5 days non stop,
 because
 I
owned no memory card, and it worked flawlessly. The dreamcast will get
rather hot, but it'll do ok if left for a while. But since memory
 cards
 go
for around five bucks, I can't complain.

hi all,
I'd just like to know, we've heard that the games that come with the WII are
playable, but if my friend gets a WII, what games have some of you guys
bought that are also fun and accessible? I've also heard of a new game
called Mario Olympics, which sounds fun, it is olympics with all those cool
sports, but is it accessible?
Thanks

Hi,
I don't know much about games for the Wii, but I got to try it a
couple weeks ago. The thing I'm concerned with is how you navigate
the system's interface. For those who haven't tried the system yet,
there are various channels you have to go to, such as the Disk
channel to start a game on disk. From what I could gather, you have
to use the Wii remote to point at an item on screen, then do
something to click on it. I can't remember if there are audio cues
that play when you move the remote, but it doesn't sound that accessible to me.
Thanks.

I can't remember if there are audio cues
that play when you move the remote, but it doesn't sound that
 accessible
 to me.
Thanks.

 Yours Sincerely,
 Kelly John Sapergia

Re: [Audyssey] the WII! again

2008-03-01 Thread chou.clement
Are any sinarios other than the crash sinarios playable? I would think the
racks and whatnot would be an issue.

Yeah, I used to play vice city, just the stealing cars aspect, even though
 I
didn't get anywhere. it was fun! Not to mention burnout 3. How do I even
 begin to describe burnout 3?

Love the ps2... all the best games I've played in this day and age have
 been
 for that system.

Yeah they were. I love the ps1's sound when the game starts up. The ps2
 was
great, too- it automatically loaded a game- but, the dreamcast, in all
honesty, is the best way to get around menus. If a menu is stil up when
 you
put a game in, just press all the shoulder buttons (l and r), and you'll
 be
taken out of it, I think. I haven't played mine in a while- but its a
 great
system. I love it. Mortal kombat games rock on there. An oldy but a
 goody,
as they say. I will never sell mine. Only thing that sucks is, instead
 of
the fan giving heat to all the circuits, the dreamcast has a fan because
 its
working damn hard (so do! not! cover! the! vents). The PS2 and xbox
 could
live without it for a while, but the dreamcast can't. Covering the fan
 will
result in fire, not could, but will. I had it happen to me. the ps2 is
 fine
for about 5 or 10 minutes, and the xbox about 5. I haven't tested this-
 but
people have told me- but it happened with an old dreamcast of mine. The
 fan
is absolutely required to keep it cool- oh btw. The dreamcast memory
 card
beeps if its in a controller when you turn on the system. (Don't worry
 about
not knowing where your controllers are!). BUt back to the fan. Notice
 when
you move through selections on the dreamcast, the fan temp changes, etc.
 The
ps2's fan is actually quiet- I had my ps2 sitting 5 days non stop,
 because
 I
owned no memory card, and it worked flawlessly. The dreamcast will get
rather hot, but it'll do ok if left for a while. But since memory cards
 go
for around five bucks, I can't complain.

Sort of why I prefer the sony consoles. Even the ps3, which is heat
sensative, has beeps and whatever when you try to put a disk in, eject,
 etc.
And the first play station consoles were definitely very good.

What game are you refering to? I played single race mode, take down. I got a
few cars, but some sited help was needed to get more cars- particularely
when you had to race to get in first place. Crash mode was easy enough, too.
I just couldn't do that world tour.
