Hi Phil,
Oh, yeah. Those

darned blasted poetic licenses. Don't we always get the blame for using those?

Anyway,I think my Tomb Raider game will have my own
poetic licenses on it as not to be exactly like the Edos games, but I am sure
some purest will complain I didn't copy one of the 8 games down to the finest
detail.

Re: [Audyssey] the death day party in scw

2007-11-20 Thread Phil Vlasak
Hi Nicol,
Sometimes I take poetic license and change a few things so Hogwarts in the
Sarah game is not exactly like Hogwarts in the books.
For example if I gave you unlimited spell casting power like Harry has, the
game would be too easy.
I did get the descriptions of the deathday food from the book, it was right
after when they were entering the room.
Harry and his friends did not try to take or eat any food so you would not
know from the books what the ghosts would do if they took some.
I made the food go back to the party because I thought the ghosts would want
their food there.
And either the elves who set up the food or Peeves could have taken it from
Sarah.

[Audyssey] the death day party in scw

2007-11-20 Thread nicol
Currently only the troll on the dungen level can be stunned by using a death
day party item.
I wish I can in the new patch also stun the troll on the third floor in this
way.
And why is the death day party food taken from sarah if she leaves the
dungen? I don't think the ghosts took death day party food away from harry
and his friends when they left the dungen And phil where did you came
across the names of the party items, crumbed sausage, cake slice, slab of
cheese.
Nowhere in the books does it mention such items. It only makes mention of
peeves offering harry and his friends peanuts.

So then sarah can keep all those food in her inventory and drop it near
a troll, because the manual says if you drop bad tasting food near a
troll he will not attack you.

Hi nicol,
Yes I do have a death day party in the dungeon but I do not say who's it
is.
Since you will probably ask who it is, it can't be Nick or Myrtle or
Binns
since they all happened during the school year.
So I will make it the Fat Fryer's party.
Hmm, now did I put him in that level or not?
Anyway I would not recommend Sarah eating that food but it does have a
good
purpose. An idea I got from what Hermione did to Crab and Goyle so Harry
and
Ron could get some hair.

[Audyssey] the death day party

All right all
I haven't yet purchased the game but I have a feeling all the food in the
roomy dungin will take some magical energy away from sarah, as harry and
his friends didn't enjoy the food in the death party at all. They felt ill
and went back after a short while. They didn't took the peanuts peeves
offered them.
