Re: [Audyssey] way behind the times

The windows 7 games are indeed accessible. You will likely have some trouble
with something like chess - simply because of the fact that while you can
see all the spaces on the board, its still difficult to keep track of where
everything has moved without a physical board. Something like hearts though,
is quite a fun diversion.
As far as installation of games go - its exactly the same as xp. You should
probably disable UAC (user account control), but once that's done, windows
77 can be used nearly the same as xp, accept that instead of going through
your start menu>programs>gma>tank commander>play tank commander, you can
just type tank into the search box and hit enter.

Subject: [Audyssey] way behind the times

I'm one of those people who did not want to migrate from Windows XP because
I was so used to that platform and it was, for me, reliable. However, I
finally scraped up the funds to get a refurbished machine with Windows 7
Professional on it. So, now for the questions:

1. Are any of the games that come with Windows 7 accessible, and with what
screen reader? Hopefully, JAWS 16, and although I do have NVDA, I have
never used it.

2. What is needed, and what are the procedures for installing David
Greenwood's Lone Wolf, Tank Commander and Shades of Doom? They are not
demos.

Keep in mind that I am extremely new to Windows 7 when responding either on
or off list. Thanks in advance.
