the only downside to SL, and this is funny coming from a developer, but the game only offers forward and backward. It offers jumping, but you can't grab on to things and what not. Hi, Allison. A side-scroller is a game that only offers four movements of left, right, up, and down. Most of the Atari games were like this and many of the original NES games were this way as well. Liam's game Super Liam and USA Games Montezuma's Revenge are also side-scroller style games. Allison Mervis wrote: > Sounds like fun! Maybe by July I'll have some money. Lol. Re: [Audyssey] LWorks Update
David. I share your concern as I was one of those who preordered. The difference is this. I will not offer any preordering until I know that the product will be released and finished. Plus, imagine the number of e-mails I'd get if I didn't release it. grins. I don't feel like ruining my reputation, and I wouldn't offer preordering unless I was 100 percent sure I could deliver. Preordering is like a promise, and I'm not one to break promises. - Original Message - From: "david" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Gamers Discussion list" Sent: Sunday, May 28, 2006 8:45 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] LWorks Update > I'm concerned about the preordering. Re: [Audyssey] LWorks Update
Well. Assuming nothing goes wrong, I'd like July first to be the release date. Things happen, and I'm only one person so it could get pushed back. My original deadline was April first, and I'm mad I couldn't hit that deadline, so I don't want to go much farther back than three months. Though, the extra time has given me more time to put in more cool features. - Original Message - From: "will" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Gamers Discussion list" Sent: Sunday, May 28, 2006 6:25 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] LWorks Update > hi liam > > is july 1st, sitll a tentative release date > sounds fun > will > > - Original Message - > From: "Liam Erven" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "talk about anything" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "Gamers > Discussion list" > Sent: Monday, May 29, 2006 12:22 AM > Subject: [Audyssey] LWorks Update > > >> Hi gamers: >> >> This is the latest from LWorks. >> >> Our new game Judgement day is coasting along quite well.
