Re: [Audyssey] Moderator Reminder: Subject Lines

2015-05-30 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Bryan,

Yes, exactly. I try hard not to name and shame on list unless I really
see a need for it. Especially, when it was such a minor offense like
forgetting to change a subject line. I figure most people who are on
list and read their messages regularly can identify who the guilty
party/parties are without naming and shaming directly.

Cheers!

Subject: [Audyssey] Moderator Reminder: Subject Lines

Hello everyone,

This is a friendly moderator reminder to remind list members if you
decide to change the topic of a message please change the subject line
of the message as well. It is confusing even somewhat irritating to
see a subject line of one thing but when reading the message the
author is talking about something totally different. If people can't
remember to change the subject line when the topic changes I'm afraid
I'm going to have to begin handing out moderated statuses to those
people who consistently change the topic without changing the subject
line as well.

Thanks.

Hello Danielle,

No worries. I don't remember anyone saying you were one of the
culprits. I happen to know who the people are who were breaking this
list guideline and I have my eye on them.

Cheers!

Hi all,

This is just a quick reminder from your friendly neighborhood
moderators to remember to change the subject line when the topic or
subject of a thread changes. We should not open a message about
October's Babble Report only to find people talking about Smugglers or
Core Exiles which should be discussed in their own threads. So this is
a reminder to please change the subject line when you change the topic
of the thread.
