Check out both Pinball Xtreme and the party pack, volume 1. They combine to
give you 9 new tables, although it is a separate game.

Re: [Audyssey] Pinball Gamers, have your voice heard!

2008-01-03 Thread Richard sherman
Hi,

On the topic of another party pack, I would definitely say go for it. I
personally would be interested in it.

As for personal preferences towards the tables, here is my list.

I only have the registered edition of pinball extreme with party pack 1.

Old Man Stanley's House -- My favorite table. Really suck at playing it but
someday I will be a pinball wizard like Raul.

Pinball Extreme -- One of my favorites. Especially for top scoring. really
like the complexity and different levels of play.

Extreme Wild West -- Another great table with great sounds. Really like the
hot ball situation. The bar scene poses some problems for me though.

Alien Invasion -- Haven't played it much but seems pretty good. I like the
stand alone game better.

Home Run -- Pretty good also. really can take a long time to play a game.

Merlin's Laboratory -- Surprisingly one of my least favorite of the extreme
tables.

Sudwerks, Topgun, and DynoMan -- Haven't played much so cannot comment
properly.

As for the tables in pinball classic, I only played the demo tables and that
was quite a long time ago but thought they were pretty good.

One suggestion, and I do not know if it is even possible or how hard to
code, would be for a multi-ball table. In essence, where there is more than
one ball in action at one time.

Thanks for letting me put in my two cents worth and keep up the great work.

Greetings gamers,

For reference in our future developments, we're wondering if you would
list your top favorite Pinball tables from the 15 available. Don't
worry if you've not played them all, just tell us from the ones you
have played. List your favorites from favorite to least. Try to list
at least three tables, but more would be helpful. This will help us
determine what sorts of tables to make available in the future. Also,
how likely would you be to pick up a second Pinball Party Pack?

Thanks, and happy new year!

I tend to agree with Thomas on that one, although I'll admit that I haven't
been able to spend as much time with the new ones as I'd like. But of the
new ones I'd have to say my absolute favorite is Merlin's Laboratory. I
haven't quite gotten the hang of the other tables yet but I hope to have
more time for that.

I'm not sure. I just remember trying PBX when it first came out, and I
didn't like it as well as PBC. Though, I am sure if I spent more time

Hi,

Awesome topic.
Firstly, I'd definitely buy another party pack. I'm a big fan of the pinball
series, and I've been since Pinball Classic was released under ESP Softworks.
As for my favorites, I'd have to go with:

Soccerstar
Heist
Classic WildWest

Old man Standley's house
Sudworks
Homerun

Keep in mind, I listed them separately for each game.
Take care,
Ryan C.

Re: [Audyssey] Pinball Gamers, have your voice heard!

2008-01-01 Thread dark
I wish I'd read this E-mail before the last one, lol!

thus far, I've only played all the tables on pinball Xtreme, as the classic
demo kept giving me error messages, and I was thus not able to try out the
game.

for pinball Xtreme though I'd probably give my order as:

Pinball xtreme circus table, (I love the mini tables, many varied tasks and
obstacles),

Revenge of shock ra (ditto on the progression, though it is a toughy,

Old man stanley's house (no progressive tasks, but lots of samples, and
things to do requiring multiple targits in sequence),

Sud works, great for the glass swapping and random samples, took me a while
to get used to.

Xtreme wild west, nice for a quick blast, and nice withe minigame.

Home run, easiest table to score on, nice minigames but can become
monotinous after a while.

alien invasion, nice tasks, but I find winning and the bonus game too
random.

top gun, shooting ships is a nice idea, but not enough missiles, and the
shots to gain the extra table are too frustrating (I've never managed to
actually get all six letters).

Merlin's lab, interesting idea, but too many elements to combo, and too easy
to hit the wrong ones to make trying different combinations interesting.

yes, i'd deffinately love to see a party pack V2, particularly if the tables
had a good amount of minigames on them.

Beware the Grue!

Dark.

2008-01-01 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi,
For what it is worth I personally felt the games from the classic
Pinball game were better than the PBX tables. My favorites are the
Packman table, The Halloween table, and the Western tables. I've heard
Safari, and it sounds pretty cool as well.
Though, most of my pinball experience has come from playing the demos,
and listening to others play them for me over the phone. So I am
probably not the best person to ask, but the above list is what I think
would be my favorites.
As far as buying a second party pack depending on what was in it I might
purchase it after I get PBC and PBX in my gaming collection.

2008-01-01 Thread Kelly Sapergia
Hi,
First, I'd definitely purchase another Party Pack, table editor
(that's something I'd like to see in the future), basically anything
to add to the game as I'm a fan of the series.
As for my list, that's a tricky one to answer, as I generally
like all the tables, but here we go:

Sudworks
Old Man Stanley's House
Wild West (the classic version)
Pinball Extreme
Alien Invasion
Home Run

While I like to play the others I haven't mentioned, one table I
don't care for is Merlin's Laboratory.
Thanks.

Yours Sincerely,
Kelly John Sapergia

Hi,

ok, here my 2 cents. *grin*

My favourite tables are Pinball Xtreme, Old Man Stanly, Merlins Labatory and
Home run.

My least favourite one is Top Gun.

I don't know the tables of Pinball Classic yet, so I can't say anything
about these tables.

The other tables are somewhere my favourites and Top Gun, no particular
order.

And yes, if another party pack came out I most definately would pick it up.

Re: [Audyssey] Pinball Gamers, have your voice heard!

2008-01-01 Thread Charles Rivard
This is an interesting topic as well as, hopefully, giving you good
feedback. The first ones mentioned are probably my 2 second favorite
tables. I like both Alien Invasion and the Packman table for their feel and
how the ball acts. I picture these 2 tables as working the way a pinball
table that sighted people play works, especially the ability to pass the
ball from flipper to flipper in the Alien Invasion table. My favorites,
though are, for their difficulty, are the Top Gun and the Shock Raw tables,
although I know I misspelled that last one. (grin). When I'm in the mood
for some sports, there are the Soccer Star and baseball tables, although the
baseball table is very long and doesn't give as much of a challenge, but
this is a personal taste. For sheer fun, I like Old Man Stanley's House,
Sud Works, the Pinball Xtreme, and the Haunted House tables.. Although
related, but not mentioned in your post, is the table editor that was to
have been part of the Pinball Xtreme project, but has been put aside for the
future. I think it would greatly add replay value to what is already an
excellent set of pinball fun. As for a second Party Pack, it would depend
on the tables offered. One thought I have is for players to create table
with the editor and send them to Draconis for approval, Players could then
choose however many tables are included in the next pack from those
available, or we could download each table for a price. Table creators
could get discounts on Draconis products for each table approved for sale

2008-01-01 Thread Raul A. Gallegos
This one is easy. First off, I would definitely purchase another party
pack. Now, on to my list. Keep in mind that this is a dynamic list
because depending on my mood and what I've played recently, my favorites
list can change. I can tell you right off that the Western tables in
both Classic and PBX are my least favorite. Now, as mentioned, my list:

Old Man Stanley's House
Pinball Xtreme
Safari
PacMan
Haunted House
Heist

If I didn't mention others it's because I think they are xtremely
boring, or I just have not played them. As I mentioned, the Western ones
are definitely at the bottom of the favorites, but I may as well as
throw Merlin's table and the Soccer table in there too.
