Re: [Audyssey] question for tom re: MOTA
Hi Scott, At the moment no. However, that can of course change between now and the final release. One thing we are looking at is online product activation. That is more secure than what we have now, and is not OS specific. At any rate we have tabled that section of code until the game is ready to ship. I'm assuming that if people like us downloaded the windows version and used that until the cross platform version is ready, there'd be a procedure for using the same key for the cross platform version and I guess deactivating the windows copy so you know we haven't just given it out to a friend or something? Re: [Audyssey] question for tom re: MOTA
Hi Will, Well, first off the product key registration system for Mysteries of the Ancients is non-OS specific. So it doesn't matter if you register it on Mac OS, Linux, or Windows the product key should work with all three versions of the game once they are ready for final release. Weather you download the Windows version of the game right away or choose to wait for a cross platform version to be released isn't any business of mine. The only person who can decide that is you. I can say though I have no idea when a cross platform version of the game will be available since there are several complications involved with it. william lomas wrote: Hi Tom, As you stated previously a windows demo of MOTA should be out in the next month i hope big smile. However this is only a windows release as of now. As I am a mac user and pre-ordered the title when i ran windows, can i try the game under windows on the mac, but hold off until a mac version is out if one is beeing worked on, before I get the key? this goes for any other mac users on list too regards will --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] Question for Tom.
Hi Ryan, Actually, I have already uploaded Dark Destroyer, Tarzan Junior, Duck Blaster, Self Destruct, and some other games to my web server, but just haven't gotten a chanse to update the download pages to link to the new files. So I haven't forgotten about them.Just been extremely slow in getting my web site updated.
