Hi Charles,
  I have this game on my iPhone and it works very well. I completed the 
championship mode without any difficulty whatsoever. Keeping your finger on the 
screen keeps a constant speed and releasing your finger from the screen slows 
down your vehicle. You steer by tilting left or right.

this mean that there is no challenge to it, thus little replay value?

In my opinion, the game has plenty of replay value as there are a number of 
cars you can choose from, all with different speeds and manoeuvring 
capabilities.

After looking at the game, you are probably right.  The choices are so very 
few; only 50 tracks, several cars, and two modes of play.  Note the sarcasm. 
I tried one track, and find that the steering is touchy, or will be, until I 
get used to it.  Looks like money well spent!  Thanks.
