H good idea, though I think it'd probably have to be implimented carefully so as not to interfere with the actual racing too much. Perhaps have sepparate batle tracks, with weapons etc, and fewer jumps, loops and what not, - or maybe I'm thinking of Rail racer 2 here. Beware the Grue! Yeah, that's what made Twisted Metal fun. It was all about pure hardcore racing while trying to destroy your opponent in every way.
