I think Layla and the kids are all lovely. Notice she dressed her girls in
orange and her son in blue stripes. I think she's sending a subtle message
there. Or maybe she doesn't even realize that orange and blue are still her
favorite colors. I'm sure she has worn a lot of good ol' O&B in her
lifetime, all things considered. It must have broken her daddy's heart to
hear her say, "I'm a Volunteer." ::gasp:: Surely she meant that she
volunteers with, say, the March of Dimes... or the Red Cross... or her
favorite politicians' campaigns. ;-)

I hope they don't have to stay in TN too long... I'm pretty sure they won't.

Other than a year or two they spend at Tennesse (before Kiffin is fired)

I think Layla and the kids are all lovely. Notice she dressed her
girls in orange and her son in blue stripes. I think she's sending a subtle
message there. Or maybe she doesn't even realize that orange and blue are
still her favorite colors. I'm sure she has worn a lot of good ol' O&B in her
lifetime, all things considered. It must have broken her daddy's heart to hear
her say, "I'm a Volunteer." ::gasp:: Surely she meant that she volunteers

My daughter just got a divorce from her first husband. Although he was a
bit odd, I had 12 years of time invested in converting him from a UNC Tarheel
to a gator. Now, he bleeds O&B, but I have to start all over. It was easier
with Todd (ex-husband), because he was from the ACC and didn't already have any
animosity for the gators. If Chris (current boyfriend) sticks around, I have my
work cut out for me. He has told me that he will convert my daughter before I
will convert him! I told him if he does, she'll lose her inheritance! ;-)

On Saturday, he was here all day, and I proudly wore my 2007 Game Day
t-shirt of the UF-UT game. It's the one that says the vols came to play, but
the gators came to feast, and shows a big mean-looking gator ready to pounce on
a little hound dog playing with a ball. Chris was not amused and pretty much
speechless, but dad was very happy.

He told me last night that despite how I feel about the SEC, UT, etc,

were playing, blah, blah, blah. I finally gave up the "high road" and started
trash talking, of which I'm pretty good at. We had to be separated by my wife

Not only is Kiffin's wife gorgeous - she is a Gator, daughter of John Reaves
and has a Tim Tebow poster.

Other than a year or two they spend at Tennesse (before Kiffin is fired)
their kids will grow up great - if they hang with mom instead of dad.

Resist it, Cee! Resist it! Try and imagine something less frightening like
select scenes from Jurassic Park or possibly even Poltergeist. :)

My personal favorite was imagining Captain Spade dancing to Popeye the Sailor

My daughter just got a divorce from her first husband. Although he was a bit
odd, I had 12 years of time invested in converting him from a UNC Tarheel to
a gator. Now, he bleeds O&B, but I have to start all over. It was easier
with Todd (ex-husband), because he was from the ACC and didn't already have
any animosity for the gators. If Chris (current boyfriend) sticks around, I
have my work cut out for me. He has told me that he will convert my daughter
before I will convert him! I told him if he does, she'll lose her
inheritance! ;-)

On Saturday, he was here all day, and I proudly wore my 2007 Game Day
t-shirt of the UF-UT game. It's the one that says the vols came to play, but
the gators came to feast, and shows a big mean-looking gator ready to pounce
on a little hound dog playing with a ball. Chris was not amused and pretty
much speechless, but dad was very happy.

Thank you!  But...  We could take this a step farther.  If UT wins this year (HAHAHAHA, yeah, right), then he can convert your daughter.  HAHAHA!!!  NEVER GONNA HAPPEN  When UT loses this year, then his whole family is welcome to convert to the Gators!  :-)  Thing BIG, Keith, my man  Think BIG!  :-)

Thank you for the compliment on my daughter.  The shirt just adds to her beautiful smile doesn't it?  The coolest thing is my wife grew up a UT fan.  Yesterday, she was getting ready to go to Publix to get the week's groceries and she comes out dressed in her 2008 NC Shirt I bought her.  Of course, I told her how great it looks on her and she just told me to keep it up.  I did, naturally!  :-)

My daughter has a new boyfriend, who happens to be a passionate vols fan. I've tried to take the high road and say "we're gators first, and SEC second", "we cheer for UT in every game but one", etc, etc, etc. Nothing has worked.

He told me last night that despite how I feel about the SEC, UT, etc, he would be happy if Florida lost every game we played regardless of who we were playing, blah, blah, blah. I finally gave up the "high road" and started trash talking, of which I'm pretty good at. We had to be separated by my wife and daughter.

Of course, I wanted to beat the vols convincingly in September for Kiffin's sake, but now I want to BURY them just so I can rub it in BIG TIME! :)

Chris was not amused and pretty
much speechless, but dad was very happy.

orange and her son in blue stripes. I think she's sending a subtle message
there. Or maybe she doesn't even realize that orange and blue are still her
favorite colors. I'm sure she has worn a lot of good ol' O&B in her lifetime,
all things considered. It must have broken her daddy's heart to hear her say,
"I'm a Volunteer." ::gasp:: Surely she meant that she volunteers with, say,

Other than a year or two they spend at Tennesse (before Kiffin is fired)
their kids will grow up great - if they hang with mom instead of dad.

His staff? - Kiffin raises the bar - when they have no talent to jump

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - A total of 11 Tennessee players with scholarships
have left the Volunteers football program under new coach Lane Kiffin,
including four since the end of spring practice.

A team spokesman confirmed that wide receivers Ahmad Paige and Tyler
Maples, offensive guard Darris Sawtelle and quarterback B.J. Coleman have left
the program since the team's Orange and White scrimmage game on Apr. 18.

Kiffin, who was introduced at Tennessee last December, said during a
Big Orange Caravan stop earlier this week that he only wants players who want
to play for the Vols.

Tennessee is allowed a total of 85 scholarship players each season
under NCAA rules.

His own players? - leaving the team in droves.

Vols, Kiffin deal with defections

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - A total of 11 Tennessee players with scholarships have
left the Volunteers football program under new coach Lane Kiffin, including
four since the end of spring practice.

A team spokesman confirmed that wide receivers Ahmad Paige and Tyler Maples,
offensive guard Darris Sawtelle and quarterback B.J. Coleman have left the
program since the team's Orange and White scrimmage game on Apr. 18.

Kiffin, who was introduced at Tennessee last December, said during a Big
Orange Caravan stop earlier this week that he only wants players who want to
play for the Vols.

Tennessee is allowed a total of 85 scholarship players each season under
NCAA rules.

My daughter has a new boyfriend, who happens to be a passionate vols fan.
I've tried to take the high road and say "we're gators first, and SEC
second", "we cheer for UT in every game but one", etc, etc, etc. Nothing has
worked.

He told me last night that despite how I feel about the SEC, UT, etc, he
would be happy if Florida lost every game we played regardless of who we
were playing, blah, blah, blah. I finally gave up the "high road" and
started trash talking, of which I'm pretty good at. We had to be separated
by my wife and daughter.

Of course, I wanted to beat the vols convincingly in September for Kiffin's
sake, but now I want to BURY them just so I can rub it in BIG TIME! :)

YEP! This is the kind of crap that I'm hearing from the majority of Vols
fans around here. The ones that are appreshensive (which are only a few
that I know) are taking the lets wait and see approach, but are very
hopeful. I find very curious that they don't understand what all the fuss
is about with his comments and think that us Gator fans are being overly
sensitive.

GO GATORS!!!

Oliver and Shane will probably agree with me, but I can tell you that the
vol fans LOVE him! They say he reminds them of SOS in the 90's and they are
hoping for the same kind of results we had with SOS.

Which leads to the question - who hates Kiffin the worst?

His own fans? - tired of "all hat and no cattle", "all flash no cash", etc

His staff? - Kiffin raises the bar - when they have no talent to jump that
high

Other SEC schools? Kiffin accusing them of cheating then we find out it is
Kiffin that is violating rules

His own players? - leaving the team in droves.
