I'd guess Lane Kiffin will be up all night, but it won't be to sing Rocky Top. :-)

The man he had grown so close to, Coach Phillip Fulmer, was dismissed from Tennessee in early November. The coach that single-handedly transformed Stokes into a Volunteer was now gone. Watching the press conference of Fulmer's dismissal, Stokes said he found himself "very emotional during the whole thing." It wasn't just Fulmer's football knowledge that captivated him, said Stokes, it was his relationship with God, his warm personality and his promise to makes Stokes the best football player and person he could. With Fulmer now out of the picture, Stokes began to look elsewhere. "It's been an experience," Stokes said of his life since Fulmer's dismissal. "After I committed, I didn't expect any of this to happen. I didn't expect to take any more visits, but it's part of the business." Shortly after Tennessee replaced Fulmer with former Oakland Raiders coach Lane Kiffin, Stokes said he spoke with Kiffin, but has yet to develop a similar bond as with Fulmer. The problem Tennessee now faces is that it won't get an official visit from Stokes because he already took it in September. While he said he's still committed to the Vols, Stokes said he plans to take at least three visits in January before he makes his finally decision on National Signing Day in February. Stokes said he plans to check out Florida, Michigan and Illinois, but there's a chance he could make it out to Oklahoma to visit the Sooners' campus. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
