RE: [gatortalk] Mullen's stock rises
Although I could be wrong perhaps if Stoops turns us down this time we can finally abandon the notion that Stoops wants to be the coach here. This is now the third time Stoops has apparently turned down this job. He must be happy in Okieland. I know my niece and nephew are. RE: [gatortalk] Mullen's stock rises
WOW is right! Mullen knows Meyer so well and it has happened already. STOOPS IS #1 but next is Dan Mullen for Foley--my opinion gatortc From: gatortalk@googlegroups.com [mailto:gatort...@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Arthur Polhill Sent: Thursday, December 09, 2010 2:49 PM To: Gatortalk@googlegroups.com Subject: [gatortalk] Mullen's stock rises This quote from our own Gatorzone raises Mullen's standing among candidates by a factor of 'Wow.' If he has this kind of insight about Meyer, he can manage anybody. The Gators lost three consecutive games in the middle of the season, a first for a Meyer-coached team. The third loss was to Mississippi State and Dan Mullen, Meyer's offensive coordinator at UF for four seasons. Before the game, Mullen reminded everyone that Meyer took losses harder than most and not to expect his former boss to hang around forever because of his intense personality.
