Hi there "abc def" & pals !

Thanks for pointing out my mistake regarding Minisha Lamba's name...totally
agree with U "abc def", regarding the picturization of "sajnaa re vaari
vaari"..i think its so captivating as the dance moves are so free & without
any elaborate choreography (at least it SEEMS those ways)u can just feel
the free spirit hit you Bang ! rite on ur face & get taken with it :-) I'm sure
in the latest gb parties, that song would be played quite frequently..hey !
I'm listening to it on my MP3 player right now, on a loop !!! ;-) Gee ! I'm
such a sucker for dance-able numbers !!! ;-) So, just in case I "grace" any gb
party (studies usually don't allow me the time), u guys would be able to easily
identify me as the guy who does the wildest & most "free-spirited" dance moves
;-)

Njoy Eklavya & everyonehave a FANTABULOUS week ahead of you :-)

Cheers,
I
:-)

  Hi guys !

I've seen quite a few raging discussions on the depiction of
homosexuality in Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. (HTPL) & Eklavya. Well,
here are my few pennies of thought on this matter.

HTPL :
_

I definetly enjoyed the gay angle of HTPL. It was shown very nicely,
compared to the trashy or stereotypical way it has been shown earlier
in Hindi films. The guys were definetly cute :-) and I must admire the
panache with which Vikram Chatwal essayed the role so welli mean,
obviously prejudiced by the "playboy" kinda image that has been
portratyed of him in the media, i expected some boombastic character
(a la Salman Khan) from him in his first movie. But the subtle way in
which he portrayed the role was so endearingI just couldn't believe
it.When he utters the words, "I am gay" to sanshya Mridul, i got
shivers down my spine. I was reminded of how i felt when i came out to
few of my str8 (guy & gal) pals...and this was his 1st mainstream
hindi film. Hats off to him.

The other guy (Amisha Patel's hubby) was also cute, esp. in the scene
where he is wearing shorty shorts on the beach & is a total eye candy
;-) However, towards the end, the film meanders
inconclusivelywithout any plausible ending, wrt this gay
angleand that's something which so isappointed me :-(

BTW, Abhay Deol looked SO gay in the filmand so awkward & gawky
too. His voice resembled that of a lady and so did his mannerisms. Isha
sarvani looked more cute & more boy-ish than he ! So much for
a "Superman" But overall, the movie was very good nice
timepass :-)

EKLAVYA :

I could guess that Boman Irani's character is gay, from the very mo he
starts reading the sonnet to Sharmila tagore."gaydar" on
overdrive ? Maybe ! In fact, i thought that his "lover" was jackie
shroff !!! His effeminate mannerisms added fuel to the fire.and the
way he eyes 1 of his servants while the latter is cutting his nails, is
a total give-away ! Movie has excellent cinematography & picturesque
locales...but some VERY corny dialogues.

Anyways, these were simply my humble opinions.totally respect what
others have to say on the films.

Have a great day everyone !!!

Icarius
