Good news from India As the world turns, for better and worse, today's news is
for the better.
A openly trans man-to-woman has made history in India (and the world?) by
being elected mayor of the city of Raigarh in east-central, India (population
150,000). Before independence in 1948 Raigarh was capital of Princely State of
Raigarh. Today the 'royals' seem to have "faded away" and the palace is in
disrepair. The new 'queen' mayor, Madhu Kinnar, wants to restore it as an
historical museum.

I think, in real case, it was a RICKSHAW PULLER... not Auto Rickshaw
