What would be very nice would be if you created a PR to add the iOS build hints to gdal.org - so that this knowledge does not get lost ... Hi Even, Yes, you’re updated patch has worked on a (clean) distribution of version 3.5. It has built for iOS successfully now, without my second dodgy work-around patch. Thanks again. Re: [gdal-dev] GDAL 3.5 successfully built for iOS with cmake
Nik, can you revert your patches and just try the one at https://github.com/OSGeo/gdal/pull/6024 ? The difference with my previous one is that it also unset variables in the cache. Testing locally on Linux (by running it unconditionnaly), I now see that the generated port/cpl_config.h in the build directory no longer define HAVE_STATVFS64, which should avoid the need for your patch in the .cpp file Even Le 06/07/2022 à 08:41, Nik Sands a écrit : Hello again, This is just a quick note to follow up on my many questions over the past few days. [gdal-dev] GDAL 3.5 successfully built for iOS with cmake
Hello again, This is just a quick note to follow up on my many questions over the past few days. I have successfully built GDAL 3.5 for iOS, and I have fully documented the procedure I used at: https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/434514/build-gdal-3-x-for-ios/435316#435316 Note that it includes two patches. The second patch is a very dodgy kludge. I hope that people who know better than I do will be able to come up with a better solution and that both patches will be incorporated into future distributions of GDAL. Thanks to Even and the many other people who replied and offered advice and suggestions (and a patch).
