Re: gEDA-user: How to identify a refdes' owner in gSchem
I removed that line from the text and now I'm see "N 55500 45200 53300 45200 4" on the schematic where the U9 was. Should I just select that text in the schematic and delete it? I don't feel comfortable doing that. Are all those lines between what appears to be two capacitor statements stray lines? The text excerpt now looks like below: C 50600 46200 1 0 0 input-2.sym { T 50700 46200 5 10 1 1 0 0 1 net=_Clk T 51200 46900 5 10 0 0 0 0 1 device=none T 51100 46300 5 10 0 1 0 7 1 value=INPUT } N 52000 46300 52500 46300 4 N 52500 46300 52500 45900 4 N 51800 41600 52500 41600 4 N 52500 41600 52500 41700 4 C 46100 41900 1 0 0 vcc-1.sym N 46300 41900 46300 41800 4 N 46300 41800 48400 41800 4 T 44300 40300 5 10 1 1 0 0 1 N 55500 45200 53300 45200 4 N 55500 43600 53300 43600 4 C 43400 48600 1 270 0 capacitor-2.sym { T 44100 48400 5 10 0 0 270 0 1 device=POLARIZED_CAPACITOR T 43900 48200 5 10 1 1 0 0 1 refdes=C1 T 44300 48400 5 10 0 0 270 0 1 symversion=0.1 T 43900 48000 5 10 1 1 0 0 1 value=4.7u } On Fri, Apr 29, 2011 at 4:21 PM, Rob Butts <[1]r.but...@gmail.com> wrote: Will do! gEDA-user: How to identify a refdes' owner in gSchem
After entering a schematic and autonumbering it I have what seems to be an extra refdes text in the schematic that doesn't have a symbol that it goes with. I suspect it is from another symbol that I deleted that the refdes might have been separated while dragging and dropping components but I would have thought the refdes would have been deleted along with the symbol. I have 8 ICs in a small design and the extra refdes is U9. When I click on every symbol the refdes never turns orange. Is there a way I can find out what symbol owns that refdes?
