Hi Hen, A long time ago I fixed dist/xml : http://www.apache.org/dist/xml/ What;s missing is an attic page : http://attic.apache.org/projects/xml.html If/when that page is in place, http://www.apache.org/dist/xml/ should redirect to it. In the past, I could (as root) fix stuff in www.apache.org/dist, but since everything is now 'svnpubsub'ed, I can't anymore. I would gladly fix stuff in dist/ (dist/esme for instance) but I don't know how I can get the permission to do so. I think it would be nice that, if/when PMC XXX retires, project XXX moves immediately to PMC attic (a PMC can have more than one project), with all the proper changes of ownership, permissions etc. Along the lines of incubator. RE: Proposed board report, May 2014
+1. To add more context about the chair swap, the Attic started with Henri as the chair. When he had to resign, I offered to take the post contingent to me being allowed to pester him to take it back. It took a while, but I was successful in the end and he would now be able to come back. It's then time for me to go, and I think Henri will do a great job as the chair of the Attic project. So, expect me and Henri to start a thread soon about a new PMC chair - and by all means feel free to speak up and suggest alternative names for the post. -- Gianugo Subject: Re: Proposed board report, May 2014 From: ralph.go...@dslextreme.com Date: Mon, 12 May 2014 09:04:00 -0700 To: general@attic.apache.org +1 Ralph On May 11, 2014, at 6:59 PM, Henri Yandell bay...@apache.org wrote: Any +1s? - No activity to report in the Attic since January.
