Hi Azhar,

I have faced the similar issue with MarkLogic 7.0-4.3 and CDH 5.3.1.

Based on MarkLogic support team, CDH 5.3.* is not yet certified by MarkLogic
and CDH 4.3.* is the certified version.
MarkLogic has CDH5.3.* as part of their road map and they will be releasing it
by August of this year based on their current plan.

Re: [MarkLogic Dev General] AngularJS to MarkLogic Connectivity Isssue

2015-03-31 Thread Varun Shetty
You would need a search query transform to apply cross origin headers.

Headers should be part of your response and not your request.

These links should help in understanding search query transform
http://docs.marklogic.com/guide/node-dev/extensions#id_78179
http://docs.marklogic.com/REST/PUT/v1/config/transforms/[name]

If you are testing locally and want to get rid of the cross domain errors
locally, you can modify the chrome shortcut to add the following arguments.
--args --allow-file-access-from-files --disable-web-security

There several ways that you can achieve this task. You can create you own
error-handler.xqy file with your custom message and codes same as MarkLogic
default error handler(see into installation directory).
Then enter the error handler name with path(i.e /error-handler.xqy) in the
error handler field of your corresponding MarkLogic http server. Give the all
permissions needed to execute this file. This is a generic way to handle the
errors for all your XQuery modules.

Hi Pragya,

500 response code is coming from MarkLogic predefined error utility file where
all response code has been defined as per specific message or standards. You
need to change that configuration file manually but its not recommended at all.

You can create your own custom xml file with your custom codes and messages.
While throwing the respective error you can return your own customize response.
