答复: [External Mail]Re: [DISCUSS] OzHera to the incubator
Thanks Jerry for asking this. Let me highlight the most important updates below: 1.Splitting OzHera from the Mone Project: OzHera has been separated into an independent repository. 2.Establishing Decision-Making and Code Contribution Processes: + We have built the OzHera community and website following open-source and Apache way to facilitate better understanding and participation. + Using tools like GitHub Actions, we have standardized the processes for submitting PRs, issues, and reviews. + Additionally, we have defined the requirements and processes for releasing OzHera versions. 3.Dependency Licenses: + We have removed most dependencies which have license in Category X. There is still a LGPL dependency which is planned to be removed soon. + We have made the storage component of OzHera pluggable, now the default storage engine is Apache Doris instead of ES. + All dependencies have been upgraded to use RELEASE versions. 4.Internationalization Improvements: + The system now supports multi-language switching, with the default language set to English. + All documentation is available in both Chinese and English. + Comments, issue discussions, and other communications have been switched to English. + Introduced mentors from outside the mainland, and the overall number has also decreased to 4 people. 发件人: Jerry Tan 发送时间: 2024年6月15日 14:53:12 收件人: general@incubator.apache.org 主题: [External Mail]Re: [DISCUSS] OzHera to the incubator [外部邮件] 此邮件来源于小米公司外部,请谨慎处理。若对邮件安全性存疑,请将邮件转发给mi...@xiaomi.com进行反馈 Is there any update from last time about this proposal and project? Re: [VOTE] Release Apache ResilientDB, Incubating, v1.10.0-RC1
Could you do a new RC? An RC2 that incorporates the changes discussed in this thread. I am voting -1 binding on the RC1. https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/incubator/resilientdb/resilientdb/v1.10.0-rc1/ The files are not structured properly in the tar.gz. apache-resilientdb-incubating-v1.10.0 is prepended to all the filenames. It isn't a directory. There are multiple other issues that have been discussed already in this thread and we need an RC2 that has the fixes. Re: [VOTE] Release Apache ResilientDB, Incubating, v1.10.0-RC1
Dear PJ We initially started voting on dev@resilientdb on April 17, and we received a change request from our mentors (namely, Calvin Kirs), which we incorporated. Once there were no further requests, then we transitioned to the incubator community. Today marks exactly 2 months from our initial request to vote and release our first official release. Thus, we appreciate the community support and the help of experienced mentors in completing this process. --- Best Regards, Mohammad Sadoghi, PhD Associate Professor Exploratory Systems Lab (ExpoLab) Department of Computer Science University of California, Davis ExpoLab: https://expolab.org/ Apache ResilientDB (Incubating): https://resilientdb.com/ Phone: 914-319-7937 On Mon, Jun 17, 2024 at 12:54 PM PJ Fanning wrote: > Hi Apratim, > Could you discuss new releases or candidates on the dev@resilientdb > list? Re: [VOTE] Release Apache ResilientDB, Incubating, v1.10.0-RC1
Hi Apratim, Could you discuss new releases or candidates on the dev@resilientdb list? Once you have an RC that has been approved by the ResilientDB team and your mentors, then you can bring it to this list to have it voted on here. It would be great if you could get your mentors to review the release and any of the other issues that have been raised (about your web site, for instance).
