[ANNOUNCE] Apache Curator 2.2.0-incubating released

2013-08-08 Thread Ioannis Canellos
Hello,

The Apache Curator team is pleased to announce the release of version
2.2.0-incubating
from the Apache Incubator. The Apache Curator Java libraries make using
Apache ZooKeeper much easier and more reliable.

Link to release notes:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=12314425&version=12324635

The most recent source release can be obtained from an Apache Mirror:
http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi/incubator/curator/
(mirror sync times may vary)

The binary artifacts for Curator are available from Maven Central and
its mirrors.

For general information on Apache Curator, please visit the project website:
http://curator.incubator.apache.org

Disclaimer:
Apache Curator is an effort undergoing incubation at the Apache Software
Foundation (ASF), sponsored by the Incubator PMC.

Incubation is required of all newly accepted projects until a further review
indicates that the infrastructure, communications, and decision making process
have stabilized in a manner consistent with other successful ASF projects.

While incubation status is not necessarily a reflection of the completeness
or stability of the code, it does indicate that the project has yet to be
fully endorsed by the ASF.

Regards,
The Curator Team

There is no conflict. I just told you that Geronimo provides its own specs,

Hi and good luck with your proposal.

please find below my feedback to your proposal.

In the relationship with other Apache Projects section, project iBatis has
been retired. You could add however Apache Camel which is using ognl
expressions for routing/filtering etc.

I hope that helps!
