+1

I stated my reasons in the discussion thread. To reiterate: I have several
clients in SE Asia and AU/NZ region who are excited about this project. They’re
a good match for and sold on the ability of multi-model for a “best of both
worlds” where we treat both the graph and relational features as commodity on
top of a battle tested engine.

I already have several clients in SE Asia and AU/NZ region who are excited
about this project. Initially they were sold on the ability of multi-model for
a “best of both worlds” where we treat both the graph and relational features

Now I can tell them that this project is definitely going places too.

+1 for me too.

I strongly believe that "release early & often” approach will help to to gain
traction and show the community progress on a compelling eco-system.

For a graph DB to success toolset is key, and this represents progress in that
direction.

Remember that perfect is the enemy of good (enough for 1.0)

My congratulations to everyone involved.

Re: [DISCUSS] Graduate Apache AGE Incubating as a Top Level Project

2022-01-10 Thread Jasper Blues
Hi Folks,

I'm subscribed to the public and private mailing lists. I've been a long time
supported of the project and collaborate with BitNine on both AgensGraph and
Apache AGE.

More generally am a graph database expert having run my own company (Liberation
Data), worked with GraphAware, and as a developer on eg Neo4j OGM and related
open-source graph projects.

I'm now becoming more exclusively aligned with Bitnine and Apache AGE.
