[IP CLEARANCE] Apache Lucene Kuromoji Japanese morphological analyzer

2011-11-08 Thread Simon Willnauer
Hi,

the Apache Lucene project has received a contribution of a Japanese
morphological analyzer (Kuromoji)

* The code is attached to the LUCENE-3305 JIRA issue [1]

* The IP Clearance form has been committed to the Incubator website. [2]

* A vote has passed on the dev@l.a.o mailing list [3]

The clearance passes by lazy consensus if no -1 votes are cast within
the next 72 hours.

Thanks,

Simon Willnauer

How to submit IP Clearance

2011-08-08 Thread Simon Willnauer
hey folks,

the apache lucene project currently works on a code donation for
Kuromoji Japanese Analyzer [1]. ICLA, CLA and code grant have been
received and as far as I know we now need to submit the
ip-clearance.xml file to the incubator website. I am wondering how I
submit this or who is going to commit this. I think as a member I can
commit to the incubator svn but I don't want to do this without
explicit permission though.

thanks,

simon

+1 to this proposal - I am happy to see that this worked out and
Lucene.Net moves forward!

I agree, the risk that people confuse those two seems very low.
Especially since the mod_jk has been around for a while and is usually
referred to as mod_jk and not as Tomcat Connector AFAIK but I can be
wrong about the latter.

Unless there is an objection, I don't see a problem.  Nothing in Apache
Connectors Framework smacks of a possible trademark issue.
