WHEREAS, the Board of Directors deems it to be in the best interests of the 
Foundation and consistent with the Foundation's purpose to establish a Project 
Management Committee charged with the creation and maintenance of open-source 
software related to the implementation of the Slide content repository, for 
distribution at no charge to the public.

be known as the "Slide PMC", be and hereby is established pursuant to Bylaws of 
the Foundation; and be it further

maintenance of software related to creation and maintenance of open-source 
software and documentation related to the Slide content repository based on 
software licensed to the Foundation; and be it further

Directors as the chair of the Slide PMC, and to have primary responsibility for

If this ever comes about, and is expanded to be beyond JCP, such as
W3C standards as well, then the third candidate is Commons (sandbox)
SCXML [1],[2].

Well said matey, I've said it a few times but it never seems to translate
into anything that we can get behind and do stuff to achieve.

Fits with the lazy principle, having enthusiastic "users" harrasing a hard
pressed volunteer administrator is a model we see time and again round
here, but isn't exactly the most elegant way to do things, incentivise it,
delegate the effort to the people who's goals will be achieved
