Although I might have just fixed it and forgot that I did, I don't
believe I had a symlink error when I emerged 6.8.2 (about a week ago).
Again, I might have just did some quick fix and forgot about it (not
sure if there is one or not, I just like to have a personal disclaimer
:D).

Mark, if you get any random segfaults (FireFox 32-bit will just randomly
close down) with Flash please tell me... me and a few others have the same
problem. I want to figure out if it's situational or if it will occur for
any 32-bit Flash running in 32-bit Emulation.

[gentoo-amd64] The xorg-6.8.2 symlinking problem ... is it fixed?

2005-02-19 Thread NY Kwok
Hi, I'm about to emerge xorg and nvidia-glx for my brand spanking new
6600GT, was wondering whether the symlink problem has been fixed yet,
or should I emerge the previous version?

Re: [gentoo-amd64] 32-bit firefox

2005-02-19 Thread NY Kwok
try emerge -s firefox, which will tell you:
net-www/mozilla-firefox
...
net-www/mozilla-firefox-bin
...
Therefore the right command should be:
emerge -v mozilla-firefox-bin

like to be able to use flash and other content that doesn't work on
the
64 bit version. Thanks!
