[gentoo-amd64] phpMyAdmin
I just emerged phpMyAdmin, and tried to start it in my browser. Rather than the usual main screen I'm used to seeing on other systems, I'm prompted for user name and password. I tried all the possibilities I could think of and searched google, but nothing is working...probably a simple answer. Anyone know what's up? Re: [gentoo-amd64] phpMyAdmin
You may need to define mysql user accounts in the phpmyadmin config file. I think both 'controluser' and 'user' are required. The phpmyadmin configuration file is /var/www/localhost/htdocs/phpmyadmin/config.inc.php You might also look at the webapp-config tool, though I don't think it will create the mysql user accounts for you.
