Very little bug inflow, responsive upstream (subscribe to their
-patches and -bugs mailing lists), great support from users.
lang-misc is still there as herd maintainer, but hardly alive.  One
bug open (compile failure in ~arch, upstream informed, package hard
masked), which I would like to close on my own.

I don't really know much about it, but I need this for dev-db/couchdb,
so if no one else wants it, I'll take it.

I passed it on to you as the bug seems to be fixed by a PLD Linux
patch. I forwarded it upstream, so the next release should contain a
fix.

OK, this is a masked ebuild but what does this actually mean and how can
 we fix it?

Which version of php is this? All php versions we (the php team)
maintain should have been fixed so this doesn't occur. We specifically
check for this path and poke a hole in the sandbox for it. If this
occurs with php-5.2.17 and/or php-5.3.5, please file a bug at
bugs.gentoo.org about it.

Ryan,

I assume the 'examples' functionality is enabled by default on
chmlib-0.40-r1. I will fix the dependencies then.

[gentoo-dev] Tomoyo tools need attention

2011-01-12 Thread Sebastian Pipping
Hello!

As of bug #342169 [1] the Tomoyo feature of Linux has not been usable
for a few month due to an outstanding bump of sys-apps/tomoyo-tools to
versio 2.3.0-p20100820. I would like to

  1. Ask for work on that
by anyone skilled to do with a bit of time
proxied or not, and

  2. Notify you
that I may try to fix things myself despite lack experience with
Tomoyo if nothing happens. If needed, please stop me now.

Thanks for your attention.

Best,

Sebastian
