[gentoo-user] where are ftp, configure scripts??

I have installed Gentoo linux in my PC, and I have a problem. I haven't the scripts 
"ftp" 
and "configure" and I can not do it. Is this normal? can someone help me??

[gentoo-user] configure apache2

Hi, someone can help me to configure apache2. I installed apache on gentoo linux and I don't know wich files I have to modify to configure it.
I modified  /etc/apache2/conf/apache2/conf/apache2.conf
when I want to start it I type:
#apache2ctl start
The pc wait some seconds and it don't show any message

[gentoo-user] xfree problem

I am configuring Xfree
I have a HP omnibook XE3L PIII 700, and I don't know vertical and horitzontal refresh to configure the monitor, does someone know this? what's the video card??
