As you can see, gxmms has been masked. You could bypass this with
# ACCEPT_KEYWORDS=~x86 emerge -pv gxmms
(substitute x86 with your architecture).
Nevertheless, as stated in
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.gentoo.user/64607
I think it is far more problematic to mix ~x86
and x86 then it is to work with all one or the other.
