Re: [gentoo-user] YahooPOPS
fetchyahoo is great, but I want[ed] a pop gateway [ala hotwayd] because then I could apply evolution's filters to it. evo only seems to apply filters [shell command: spamc -f -c] to mail it retrieves. Anyway, I just created a luser whose only responsibility is to fetch all my webmail and I then pop it from there with qpopper. On Wed, 2003-06-04 at 05:05, Andrew Kirilenko wrote: Hello! It might be worth checking to see if there is already an ebuild submitted on the bugs site. -Chris I I found Rome a city of bricks and left it a city of marble. -- Augustus Caesar emerge fetchyahoo Best regards, Andrew. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
Re: [gentoo-user] YahooPOPS
Seems yahoopops has issues with gcc 3.x or something. I'm don't care enough to pursue it further. [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ $ date ; echo ${Maxime Larocque} Wednesday 04 June 2003 11:43 pm It means that when I suscribed to Yahoo!, I asked to receive special offers from Yahoo! Mail. (I do not receive a lot of those, maybe one per month...). This choice gave me access to Yahoo! Direct, which give access to mail forwarding and POP access... It has been configured since september, so I forgot some of the details... Yup... Just like @yahoo.com.ar. They let you use pop3 and smtp if you accept their spam ;-) Norberto pgp0.pgp Description: signature
