[gentoo-user] bazillion portage updates?

Every time I run 'emerge sync' it tells me that a new version of portage 
is available.
Did something get mucked up or have there been a few minor releases 
recently?

Uh, Nick's been a bit trigger-happy with the release new portage
version button as of late. I think the titanium spork is to blame...
