I know that swsup2 patches are in the suspend-sources kernel. But according to the documentation software suspend v1 should be supported in the gentoo-sources. Using gentoo-sources i got the same problem. You are using SMP, right ? Then you have to enable CONFIG_HOTPLUG_CPU to get CONFIG_SOFTWARE_SUSPEND selectable. [gentoo-user] opening movies in the current mplayer window
Hello. I am using kde-3.5.6 and gmplayer as frontend to mplayer 1.0rc1-4.1.2. When I doubleclick on the video file, it is opened in new mplayer window. [gentoo-user] SDL problem
Hello. I have libsdl 1.2.11-r1 installed(2.6.19-r4 kernel). When I run dosbox or quake3(or any other app depending on STL) from my common user account I get error message like: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ % dosbox Exit to error: Can't init SDL Unable to open a console terminal It runs normal from root. [gentoo-user] Trouble with X.org and ati opensource drivers
Hello. I have xorg 7.2.0, KDE 3.5.6 and 2.6.19-gentoo-r4 kernel. My processor is athlon 1700, video card is radeon 9200se. I cannot use proprietary ati drivers, because my video card is no longer supported. So the problem is that xorg loads processor too much(about 20-30%). Also when I drag any window slowly with my mouse, It freezes for a little moment every N seconds.
