It's great.) sSMTP is the problem: The clearest documentation I've found for setting up STARTTLS with sSMTP is located in someone's ssmtp.conf on a pastebin-style service. (Read: There is no documentation that I can find.) Scanning the forums and list archives produces a lot of "Yeah, I have that problem too." Here's the question: Have your (or anyone you know) been able to set up ssmtp with Gmail's SMTP service? Or with STARTTLS at all, for that matter?
