Hi

since synce didn't work with me , is there anyway to make synce just
sync in one way ? I mean I need it for example to delete every calender
in my PocketPC and then copy my calender events from my laptop to my
PocketPC ?

Hi everyone

I'm trying to connect to my work network and here is what the network
admin gave to me about our wireless network

authentication: open eap
encryption mode: ciphers tkip wep128

Can I connect to this wireless network using my Gentoo linux ? and how
to do it since I am not that big in wireless , I have a wireless
network in my home and it's works fine (simple wireless)

also I remember it's also has something to do with PEAP protocol


BTW: my wireless can id Intel 2100

[gentoo-user] synce + multisync + evo + PocketPC, is it good ?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone really using synce + multisync + Evolution with  PocketPC ?

I tried many many times with different machines but the result always
not acceptable , for example when I try to sync my Tasks (Evolution <-->
PocketPC ) I don't get anything in/from the both side, but when I add
new thing in my pocketPC it will add it to evolution and when I delete
it from evolution it will not delete it from my PocketPC  (also the same
from Evolution to PocketPC)
(this just an example for the Tasks, but it's same for Contact &
Calender)

is there anything wrong with my setup or it's still not stable at
all !!?

Note: There is also a bug, when you try to sync with exchange account
evolution-storage or backend (I don't remember the name) will always
crash and you have to restart evolution


if there is any thing you want from me, I will be happy to test it

my last try was with :
Gentoo 2.6.11-gentoo-r3
synce  ( app-pda/synce-multisync_plugin )  0.9.0
multisync (app-pda/multisync)  0.83_pre20050414-r1

My pocket PC:

gnome and just encrypt it with password or decrypt the file or the
folder ?

[gentoo-user] Gnome 2.10 & bluetooth

Hi

I have just installed Gnome 2.10 (in Gentoo box) and before that I was
using Gnome 2.8 and I was able to right click in any file and send it
via bluetooth , but now I don't see the item "send via bluetooth"
anymore

is this a problem in my installation or it's not exist any more in Gnome 2.10 ?

Another questions :
1, Is there any way to list all the gnome-vfs addresses in my machine ?

2. Anyone know when Gnome 2.10 will be marked as stable in Gentoo ?
