I googled for it and found some info that the way to avoid this is to turn off AIGLX: Section ServerFlags OptionAIGLX off EndSection The link I am looking at now (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=1697767) also suggests: Section Extensions OptionComposite 0 EndSection to disable composite extension... Well, I put those info my xorg and nothing happened at all... Unless there is some really basic error I missed, it just doesnt work for me... You are welcome to try these.
