I've heard good things about Hauppauge WinTV Nova cards running under
Linux. They price around 50 Euro here.

[gentoo-user] Which TV card to take?

Hi folks,

I don't know which (DVB-S) TV card to take.
It shouldn't be too expensive and should work correctly with the 2.6
kernel (without patching, if possible).
I just want to watch TV with TV time.
