[gentoo-user] apache 2.4 - .htaccess IP's limit

Does apache 2.4 have a limit of how many individual entries like: " Require not 
ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xx" 
I can have in Apache .htaccess file?

I have over 500-subnets and I've notices some IP's are being blocked even 
though they are not on the list.
