[Geoserver-devel] GSIP 197 - Promote WPS-JDBC to extension status

Hi all,
one more (and hopefully the last) module gradation GSIP from me:

The wps-jdbc module is a WPS asynchronous status store we have been using
more and more,
as wps-hazelcast (the existing supported equivalent) is not always working
in environments where
multicast is disabled and the IP of the WPS cluster nodes are not
predictable and config time
(but the one of a database, is).

When any four-band raster is uploaded to geoserver, the 4th band is 
automatically assigned as alpha channel. Furthermore, the band names are 
renamed to RED, GRENN, BLUE and ALPHA and the Layer Preview (WMS) section gives 
a blank image.

On the other hand, when a five (or more) band raster is uploaded, no band is 
assigned as alpha channel and the bands names are not renamed. In this case, 
the Layer Preview (WMS) section gives an image with the 3 first bands and rgb.

We have been using this in production for a while with a few clients.
It is going to be shipped soon with GeoNode default installation to perform
asynch downloads so it is, IMHO, a good timing to promote as we expected
