New artefacts ready for testing: https://build.geoserver.org/view/release/job/geoserver-release/41/artifact/distribution/2.20.2/ Now working in Java 8. Windows installer also available: https://build.geoserver.org/view/release/job/geoserver-release/ws/distribution/2.20.2/GeoServer-2.20.2-winsetup.exe (The windows job is having some issues with chmod) -- Jody Garnett On Sun, 23 Jan 2022 at 00:39, Jody Garnett wrote: > Okay, got 1st problem: > > Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: > java.nio.ByteBuffer.position(I)Ljava/nio/ByteBuffer; > > at > org.geotools.data.shapefile.dbf.DbaseFileHeader.readHeader(DbaseFileHeader.java:577) > > > Expect one of the jobs built using Java 11, and thus this bundle will not > work on Java 8. > Confirmed: Changing to Java 11 works as expected. > > Let me know if there are any other issues and I can restart the release > process tomorrow. > -- > Jody Garnett > > > On Sun, 23 Jan 2022 at 00:23, Jody Garnett wrote: > >> artefacts available for testing here: >> https://build.geoserver.org/view/release/job/geoserver-release/40/artifact/distribution/2.20.2 >> >> I am not aware of any special priorities for testing, the release notes >> are now here https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/releases/tag/2.20.2 >> >> I am curious if the windows installer job will work (or run into >> permissions issues again). >> -- >> Jody Garnett >> > ___ Geoserver-devel mailing list Geoserver-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geoserver-devel
Re: [Geoserver-devel] geoserver 2.20.2 available for preflight testing
Okay, got 1st problem: Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: java.nio.ByteBuffer.position(I)Ljava/nio/ByteBuffer; at org.geotools.data.shapefile.dbf.DbaseFileHeader.readHeader(DbaseFileHeader.java:577) Expect one of the jobs built using Java 11, and thus this bundle will not work on Java 8. Confirmed: Changing to Java 11 works as expected. Let me know if there are any other issues and I can restart the release process tomorrow. -- Jody Garnett On Sun, 23 Jan 2022 at 00:23, Jody Garnett wrote: > artefacts available for testing here: > https://build.geoserver.org/view/release/job/geoserver-release/40/artifact/distribution/2.20.2 > > I am not aware of any special priorities for testing, the release notes > are now here https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/releases/tag/2.20.2 > > I am curious if the windows installer job will work (or run into > permissions issues again). > -- > Jody Garnett > ___ Geoserver-devel mailing list Geoserver-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geoserver-devel
