Hi, I double checked the logs and noticed this: 2016-08-04 08:46:02,453 ERROR [security.decorators] - Sorry, raster filters for cascaded wms layers have not been implemented yet https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/blob/bf0345d228111c15aeff6f7c1bc87b4ed230af96/src/main/src/main/java/org/geoserver/security/decorators/SecuredGetMapRequest.java#L126-L127 It seems that I have to find out some other way to do that. Re: [Geoserver-users] Geofence questions
Hi, Sorry I miss the first mail. I have checked the implementation of the REST entry points for managing users: https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/blob/master/src/community/geofence-server/src/main/java/org/geoserver/geofence/rest/UsersRestController.java First issue, the documentation is erroneous, the REST resource for querying, deleting or updating a specific user is: /rest/usergroup/user/{user} and not rest/usergroup/{user} where {user} is the user name. Example, for updating user "nuno" a request similar to this one can be used: curl -u admin:geoserver -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -X POST -d '{"enabled":true}' 'http://localhost:8080/geoserver/security/rest/usergroup/user/nuno' Second issue, is not possible to query a specific user: curl -u admin:geoserver -H 'Accept: application/json' 'http://localhost:8080/geoserver/security/rest/usergroup/user/nuno' I have created two issues for this so this will not be forgotten: https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOS-7667 https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOS-7668 Regards, Nuno Oliveira Le mercredi 03 août 2016 à 12:33 -0700, ceibl a écrit : > Hi, > it is the same with me. [Geoserver-users] Geofence Limit-rules with cascaded WMS
Hello, I'm trying to use geofence-server-plugin with Geoserver. I need to limit geographically Cascaded WMS-layers, so that each layer has its own limiting geometry. These layers would then be published outwards in a layer group. I haven't got LIMIT rules working with Cascaded WMS-layers. I can get PostGIS vector layer limited with these rules: Priority 0: Role=* User=* Service=WMS Request=GETMAP Workspace=* Layer=* Access=LIMIT with "SRID=4326;MULTIPOLYGON (((23 60, 25 60, 25 65, 23 60)))" Priority 1: Role=* User=* Service=WMS Request=* Workspace=* Layer=* Access=ALLOW With those rules my cascaded WMS layer is shown at its full extent. Is that a bug or something that is not implemented? I'm using Geoserver 2.10-Snapshot (2.8.2016) with Java 1.8.0_60 and Tomcat 7.0.69. I tested both vector layers and cascade WMS in QGIS with test user, so it's not about that rules are not applied to admin. Re: [Geoserver-users] PNG8 Image format throws ColorIndexer Exception after java native libs are installed
Hi Ivan, I guess you might have some classpath issue, the it.geosolutions.jaiext.colorindexer.CachingColorIndexer is an instance of it.geosolutions.jaiext.colorindexer.ColorIndexer available in the same package inside jai-ext jt-colorindexer jar. May it be that you have two of those jars around with different versions, like twice in the war, or in the war and in the tomcat libs, or for any obscure reason, in the war and in the jre lib/ext directory? The ColorIndexer interface is jai-ext own, has no relationship with normal JAI, so I don't know off the top of my head how having native versions of JAI would cause the above issue. [Geoserver-users] PNG8 Image format throws ColorIndexer Exception after java native libs are installed
Hi everybody, recently we installed native Java JAI+ImageIO libs (new MapFish version requires it), and since then we are getting Exceptions for PNG8 Image format (PNG works just ok) java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: ColorIndexer - Parameter value`s class (it.geosolutions.jaiext.colorindexer.CachingColorIndexer) is not an instance of the parameter class (it.geosolutions.jaiext.colorindexer.ColorIndexer) for parameter "Indexer". ColorIndexer - Parameter value`s class (it.geosolutions.jaiext.colorindexer.CachingColorIndexer) is not an instance of the parameter class (it.geosolutions.jaiext.colorindexer.ColorIndexer) for parameter "Indexer". Is Geoserver still expected to work normal with Native JAI/ImageIO libs, or one has to make a switch to Community JAI-Ext Version in order everything to work fine? We are currently still using Geoserver v2.8, as few important issues still prevents us to upgrade to v2.9. Thank you!
