[Geoserver-users] KML w/ dynamic SLD

2017-10-26 Thread Billy Newman
I am having problems styling a KML network link via an external SLD.

Running v2.12.0

The network link that is generated looks like this:
service=wms&request=GetMap&version=1.1.1&format=application/vnd.google-earth.kml+xml&layers=mylayer&styles=generic&height=2048&width=2048&transparent=false&srs=EPSG:4326&format_options=AUTOFIT:true;KMATTR:true;KMPLACEMARK:false;KMSCORE:40;MODE:refresh;SUPEROVERLAY:false&sld=http://localhost/sld

The SLD returned from that url:

http://www.opengis.net/sld";
xmlns:ogc="http://www.opengis.net/ogc";
xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink";
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"; version="1.0.0"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.opengis.net/sld StyledLayerDescriptor.xsd">

mylayer

  Hello

http://maps.google.com/mapfiles/kml/pal3/icon55.png"/>
image/png

I get this exception:

You accept a progress listener as one of the parameters, and use it to
increase the progress.
Mind, GeoServer will adapt the value you provide assuming some time is also
spent parsing the request
and encoding the results, so expect to see an offset in the output value

[Geoserver-users] wps asynch set Task and Progress

2017-10-26 Thread Bessette-Halsema, Dominique E
How do I set the Task and Progress updates in my WPS for asynchronous calls?
Right now it's always returning 0% Progress.

Thank You

Dominique Bessette

[Geoserver-users] Geoserver Styling Error (CSS and YSLD)

2017-10-26 Thread Kris Johnson
I am attempting to style a point layer using a CSS style in geoserver.
Here is the style definition:

/* @title red point */* {
  mark:
url(https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mapbox/maki/master/icons/industry-15.svg);
  mark-mime: "image/svg";}
[@scale < 200] {
  mark-size: 30;}
[@scale > 200] [@scale < 400] {
  mark-size: 15;}
[@scale > 400] {
  mark-size: 7.5;}

I've attached (what I believe to be) the pertinent portion of this log
file for this error.

I believe CSS styling was working at one point, so I'm inclined to
think it's an issue with my syntax.

Any assistance with this issue would be appreciated. Thanks.

[Geoserver-users] Masking/showing a certain area of cascaded WMS

2017-10-26 Thread Matthew David Corney
Hi List,

I have a WMS (a topographical map of Sweden) that I am cascading and using as
a background layer to our own web map. I would like to show only the area of
the topographic map that is relevant to our area. A simple rectangular box is
what I am looking for.. I know that it is not yet possible to change the styles
of cascaded WMS, but deciding to show a specific part of it feels like it could
be possible, but I have not been able to find ideas on how to do this.

So my question is, is this possible to achieve within Geoserver and how can it
be done? Any suggestions and or instruction from anybody that has done this or
thought about doing this before would be really appreciated.

I'm running Geoserver 2.11.2 on Windows 7. The map service is written in
OpenLayers 3.

Thanks a lot!

Matt
