Hi Nicolas, you could try raising the logging level to GEOTOOLS_DEVELOPER_LOGGING. >From the GeoServer UI, on the left menu, go to Settings->Global->Logging settings.
Then retry and let see if the Logs contain some additional information. Please, let us know.
