Re: [Geoserver-users] StatusPage error on reload - GeoServer2.1-RC3
Hi, I found out the reason for this persisting problem (Caused by: java.io.IOException: Could not delete: .\data\global.xml) In GeoServerLoader.java look at these lines: if ( f != null ) { BufferedInputStream in = new BufferedInputStream( new FileInputStream( f ) ); GeoServerInfoImpl global = (GeoServerInfoImpl) xpf.createXMLPersister().load( in, GeoServerInfo.class ); geoServer.setGlobal( global ); } //load logging f = resourceLoader.find( logging.xml ); if ( f != null ) { BufferedInputStream in = new BufferedInputStream( new FileInputStream( f ) ); LoggingInfo logging = xpf.createXMLPersister().load( in, LoggingInfo.class ); geoServer.setLogging( logging ); } === please close these BufferedInputStreams. If I do this, I don't get this org.geoserver.catalog.CatalogException: Error persisting GeoServerInfoImpl[null] to \data\global.xml error any more. - torres.at bestzeller.com -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/StatusPage-error-on-reload-GeoServer2-1-RC3-tp6207161p6245780.html Sent from the GeoServer - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- Xperia(TM) PLAY It's a major breakthrough. Re: [Geoserver-users] StatusPage error on reload - GeoServer2.1-RC3
Just want to suggest something regarding this bug - I don't know if it's a consecutive fault or not. After reload, when I try to submit changes to global.xml, I get following error: This happens with version RC2 too (with ONE geoserver instance, using windows 64bit os) org.geoserver.catalog.CatalogException: Error persisting GeoServerInfoImpl[null] to \data\global.xml at org.geoserver.config.GeoServerPersister.persist(GeoServerPersister.java:705) at org.geoserver.config.GeoServerPersister.handlePostGlobalChange(GeoServerPersister.java:241) at org.geoserver.config.impl.GeoServerImpl.fireGlobalPostModified(GeoServerImpl.java:154) at org.geoserver.config.impl.GeoServerImpl.save(GeoServerImpl.java:141) at org.geoserver.config.UpdateSequenceListener.incrementSequence(UpdateSequenceListener.java:40) at org.geoserver.config.UpdateSequenceListener.handlePostGlobalChange(UpdateSequenceListener.java:78) at org.geoserver.config.impl.GeoServerImpl.fireGlobalPostModified(GeoServerImpl.java:154) ..
