 Publishing opportunity. Here’s a quick and easy way to get a line on your
CV. We are working on a book for ABC ClIO Press that is aimed at a high
school and beginning college audience titled:Energy Resource Conflict:
Origins and Global Impact we need short (1000 words) entries for each of
the topics below. The total for the entry should be no more than 1500 words

Position Title: CV Starr Professor of Sociology and Department Chair

Brown University seeks an accomplished scholar who studies organizations
(broadly defined) to  join the Department of Sociology
 and provide leadership as
Department Chair. The faculty member will hold the CV Starr Professorship.
The position start date is negotiable.

A successful candidate must be a sociologist at the advanced associate- or
full-professor level with an outstanding record of scholarly achievement,
an active research agenda, a proven record of academic leadership,
excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching and advising, and a
