[gep-ed] ICRLP Speakers Bureau

2019-08-10 Thread Wil Burns
The discussion of the potentially critical role of carbon dioxide
removal/negative emissions technologies in the portfolio of responses to
climate change has increased rapidly in the past year with the release of the
IPCC's 1.5C and land use reports, as well as the release of a major report by
the US National Academy of Sciences. Our Institute focuses on social science
aspects of these emerging technologies, including governance and the role of
public deliberation, as well as translating scientific literature for the
social science community and the public. We have recently established a
speakers bureau, details of which can be found here:
https://www.american.edu/sis/centers/carbon-removal/speaking-appearances.cfm.

We hope to visit with you soon! Please contact me with any questions you might
have. wil
