Re: Multiple pids - another way, in some cases
It's very useful, I first used it soon after roadcone posted here - thanks. I had just discovered The Infinite Monkey Cage and decided to download all of the episodes of the current series if I could get them. Imagine my surprise when I returned to the laptop to find that it had downloaded all 54 eposodes from Seriues 1 to Series 10! On long-running series (like DR Who TV) it will find all old episode PIDs and list them as not available, but just leave it chugging away and it'll get all available content - even the 2 minute trailers etc. Not sure if --pid-recursive is a recent addition, but thanks for it anyway - saves a helluva lot of time copying individual PIDs ___ get_iplayer mailing list get_iplayer@lists.infradead.org http://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/get_iplayer ___ get_iplayer mailing list get_iplayer@lists.infradead.org http://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/get_iplayer

Re: Peaky Blinders - first two episodes not available or am I doing something wrong
get_iplayer 2.87 or higher is REQUIRED to download programmes more than 7 days old via PID or URL https://github.com/dinkypumpkin/get_iplayer/wiki/release287 On 21/10/2014 19:50, roadcone wrote: This page: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/b045fz8r lists three episodes and using --pid=pid I can get #3 but not #1 2. I am using the latest patch of version 2.86 from Github. I've not yet d/l and installed 2.87. If I use pid recursive on the page it lists the pids of all of both series. Me - flummoxed again. Can anyone offer guidance please?
