Re: Failed recordings

2016-12-23 Thread CJB
I use both the Windows PVM (on Win 7) and the command line version.

However whenever I try and download a radio recording using v2.97 it
ends up as 320kbps - which is what I want - but is truncated or has
missing segments. The 'partial' is always converted OK but the files
are smaller than they should / could be by many MBs.

That's why I have reverted back to v2.94 - which always downloads OK
albeit ending up as 128kbps. This last is good enough for me for
speech.

v2.94 also always downloads video OK.

CJB.

Rem out tvmode?

All attempts to record radio or TV using the most recent versions of
get_iplayer.pl have failed. Reverting to the version released on 15
December solves the problem. I'm running the CGI version in Firefox
Portable x64 50.1, under Win7 Pro x64. A sample error message,

Any ideas?

I'm having similar problems but with TV. Radio is fine.

Running in the UK. Windows XP, GiP 2.97

Any TV programme that I try to record locks solid, no error message.

On another PC running Windows 10 but using GiP 2.94, it records fine.

This is my options file:

modes best
fileprefix - -
subtitles 1
output v:\BBC iPlayer Recordings
whitespace 1

This has started over the last two or three days.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Try remming out your radio mode in the options file, its working for me now.
