OK. I don't remember we did this, in case we did it's probably an error.

No no - wrong way *G The text was translated into frensh but was
commented. Maybe i use the wrong word for comment something, eg:

yes

Another thing which still remains for us is, to produce now utf-8
encoded documents without the gimp.xml entities. I'll try translate the
existing docs to utf-8 without the entities. Please give me some
feedback how well it works.

Huh? You should get your eyes checked. That's a 2.0 that is visible
there.

Well, obviously the information you provided wasn't understood very
well. At least me never figured out what shlick curves would be and we
will certainly not use some obscure formula that isn't documented
anywhere.

Apart from that, noone seems motivated to work on this. Most people
seem to be happy with the current state and the few people that
contribute to GIMP seem to have more important things to do. I would
be willing to change the gray point pickers but I like the way the
dialog works now and others have told me that it works for them as
well. So I don't see any need to work on this right now. Perhaps it
could be changed in a future release.

gimp2-freetype is already packaged in mandrake contribs since Sun Aug
10 2003 :-)

i didn't know that it was for gimp-1.2.x branch.

you could include the gimp-freetype plug-in (http://freetype.gimp.org)
get the one with a 2 in it for gimp-1.2. this plug-in takes care of all
the problems i had with fonts in gimp-1.2, debian woody, sarge and
lately sid.

[Gimp-developer] What about those bug reports...

2003-12-04 Thread Piotr Legiecki
Hi

I can almost see gimp 1.4 on the horizon and wonder what is going to
happen here (about shlick curves in Curves dialog - gray point picker
for Curves):
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125305
and here (grey point picker in Levels):
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125303

Is there any need for more information?
