This seems to be a Mexican food, how can a food have an expression of shock ? Or is this some cartoon character ? Burrito is based on the same code as Xachbot, and is run by yosh. One of Burrito's most important extensions is its ability to eek. It also has a database of 2-letter country codes. Yeah, cultural-specific, but the culture is the Gimp IRC-Channel culture. The text of that error message is probably not really useful to translate since it is never shown to the user anyway (unless something is very broken in the Gimp code)... For what it's worth, in cartoons, "eek" represents the cry a woman makes when she sees a mouse running across her kitchen floor. Yes, that's sexist.
