This is a very serious bug. The whole point of plugins is exactly to isolate the main GIMP program from crashing plugins. If a plugin crashes and takes out the main program then we may as well not have bothered. I repeat: if a plugin crashes and kills the main gimp program, *please* file a bug report! [Gimp-developer] Auto save?
Is there any way to add an auto save every "(?)" minutes function to GIMP? I've pushed this program very hard and sometimes might forget to save my work until after a couple of hours (seems like minutes). Well, one of those plug in crashes and it's all gone.
